Nasew Real estate was founded by a person with a passion for learning and a strong desire to improve his community Mr.Shite Luelseged Melaku, born in Gojjam, Ethiopia, and completed his secondary school there. After completing secondary school he moved to Addis Ababa where he joined AAU (Addis Ababa University) while working in the day time, where he graduated with Civil Engineering Degree.

On Oct 31th 1997, he started his first company Nasew Construction PLC which has become one of the leading project-based construction companies in Ethiopia, with a diverse portfolio including infrastructure development, power sector projects, and building construction. Then started Nasew real estate on Oct 15, 2005, and Shihdan real estate on Nov 2, 2009, now the two companies are one of the largest real estate developers in the country.
